What's a Gorga Monkey anyway??
There are a lot of theories about what a Gorga Monkey actually is…
I would like to share with you a couple of theories I have come up with…
My first theory is based on a bygone era when new things were being discovered or invented every day.
Back in the time when most T.V. sets were black and white and cable and satellite TV wasn’t invented yet – that is the time when I believe the Gorga Monkey’s were discovered. From what I can tell, a “Dr. Anthony Gorga” saw that his kids loved nothing more than to jump and climb on anything and everything. So, from time to time, he would just call them his little Gorga Monkey’s. When his kids had children of their own, they became Gorga Monkeys. So, I believe that it is a kind of term of endearment and that is where the name came from.
The second theory is based on the fact that if you take out two letters from the state name Georgia, you get Gorga. Maybe it’s no coincidence that the first Gorga Monkey’s location started in Powder Springs – GeORGiA.
I cannot really decide which one is right. The first theory is very endearing but the second theory is very factual. You can decide for yourself if you swing on by Gorga Monkey’s Jump & Play – 3405 Florence Circle SW – Powder Springs GeORGiA (770) 439-2277.

Gorga Monkey's - Good Family Fun
Gorga Monkey’s Jump & Play in Powder Springs Georgia is an indoor inflatable arena and party center that is perfect for a day of good family fun.
The admission price for the kids is really reasonable and is good for the whole day. Even though parents get in free, they are encouraged by the establishment to play with their children and often end up surprised at how much fun they had doing it. Once parents see how much the kids truly enjoy it, they often times make the decision right then and there to have the child’s next birthday party there.
It is also good exercise. Some parents find that continued exercise for the child is very important and elect to purchase a frequent jumper pass so that they can go every day, rain or shine. They also discover that if they participate in the activities with the child they too benefit from the calories burned.
A lot of parents say things like “you’d never catch me on one of those things…” discover later that participating with the child makes the child feel special and it let’s the adult feel good also.
My suggestion, try Gorga Monkey’s Jump & Play with your family, you’ll be surprised how much fun you can have together.
